Time Spent With Friends

This card was made using my level 3 hostess set Time Well Spent. It was given to Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as a Christmas gift from Stampin' Up!. Don't we work for such a great company?
This card is also made using the In-Colors for this year. I am trying to use up as much of my in-colors as possible before they retire this summer. I really do enjoy these colors so much!
Base of card is Soft Sky, with accents of soft sky designer prints paper, and purely pomegranate. Basic black was used for the scallop punch. Most of my projects are made using some sort of punch. The scallop punch is just perfect with the circle punch too! I stamped my butterfuly image twice, cut out the wings, colored them in with my blender pens and classic ink pads, they are placed on the card with dimensionals. There's also some dazzling diamonds on the wings for that touch of "bling"!
The saying from the set Time spent with Friends is time well spent, is just a perfect saying for any type of card. I am using it to make some cards to send out to some of my old friends that I haven't talked to in quite a while, just to catch up! I colored in the Friends part of the saying with my versamarker, it gives it a special touch. And I also colored in the flowers with my Stampin' Up! Markers. And then added some of my pretty pomegranate double stitched ribbon.
Hope you all make some cards this spring to say hello to someone you haven't been in touch with in a while. A handmade card is something special these days, and something to be treasured for a long time!
Happy Stamping!
Jen

Love the color combo in this card - I agree with you - I'm going to be really sad when the in colors retire - they are some of my favorites!!

Great card Jen, love what you did with the butterfly! I never know if I want to use my in colors or keep them stored away just in case!!
