Distressing

What is Distressing? It is simply to scuff up, sand, or other wise “age” a new card.Anyone with a pair of paper snips can distress by simply rubbing the sharp edge of your scissors up and down the edges of your cardstock! However you can also use Stampin' Ups! Cutter Kit for this!!! Don’t be afraid to really work it, the more you rub the more of a “distressed” look you’ll get!

I distressed the edges of the pumpkin images and its mat underneath with my pair of paper snips. Makes a great fall card! Let me know if you would like to learn how to do this technique at a workshop of your own, where you can earn free stamp sets and hostess benefits, and have a great time making some neat projects!

Also, don't forget about the Fall Frenzy Special going on now thru the end of September. You can get some really neat autumn/fall/Halloween type sets at 30% off!! Contact me for further details!
