Thinking of Spring

While I am anxiously awaiting for Spring's arrival, I decided to make a pretty little spring card!
Stamp Set Used: A Good Egg
Ink: Black Stazon
Cardstock: Barely Banana, Cert Celery, Tea Party Designer Paper
Accessories: Cert Celery Ribbon, Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals
I used the technique called Paper Piecing on my cute little chick's shell. Basically, I stamped him on the banana cardstock and cut him out. I then stamped the cute little chick again on the Tea Party paper and cut out only the eggshell part, and then glued it on top of the chick. He is placed on the card using the pop up dimensionals.
I'm sorry for the bad photos, but I seemed to have lost my cord for the camera since coming home from vacation. It's here somewhere, I just can't seem to find it. So I can't get the pictures off the camera onto the computer. So these photos are taken with my web cam.
Off to do more school with the children this morning. I think we are planning on sending the children back to regular school in the fall so that I can go back to work. Still working out all the details, but I am definetly done with the homeschooling thing! Not sure what I'll be doing for the summer time, maybe babysitting, who knows! I am not looking forward to going back to work that's for sure. I hate having to work nightshift, weekends, holidays, and all of the stress involved with that. I am hoping to find a School Nurse job maybe, or maybe a doctor's office. That way it would work around all of the other stuff that we have going on. Please pray for wisdom and a sense of direction for our family!!!
Happy Stampin!
Jen

This is a really cute card Jen - isn't paper piecing fun!! About the homeschooling - my kids have always wanted me to homeschool, but I've always been worried that I wasn't up to the challenge. Good luck with the decisions you have to make in the future. Hopefully you can find a job that doesn't require shift work. My SIL was an RN working night shifts, and she recently got a job as a Call-a-nurse where she works at home. She really likes it. Something like that might work for you. I'll keep your situation in my prayers!
