This is a card that I made for when my new niece is born! Which I hope won't be until after we get home from Florida! The card base is Cameo Coral and the designer paper is the new Raspberry Tart. I also used Rose Red underneath the girafee. The girafe is from the stamp set Wild About You, which makes great kid cards! She is stamped in Cameo Coral ink. I also used the ticket corner punch on the white piece. All of the fake stitching is done using my black marker.
The little flower rose is made with a piece of very vanilla ribbon. I stitched some thread along one edge, and then just pulled the thread until it came into the flower shape, tied a knot at the end. Such a pretty addition to any card or scrapbook page. I put a rhinestone brad in the center of my rose and then adhered it to the card using mini glue dots.
I can't wait to hold this new little one! I just love babies!
