I really liked a card that Beate had made back in September in this style. So I decided to make a card like it with some of the retiring stamps that I have. The card base is chocolate chip, and the bottom edge is punched with the scallop border punch. Next layer is very vanilla, with some designer paper, ski slope, on top. The chocolate chip strip is stamped with the retiring Paisley background, but is hard to see in the picture, then also punched with the scallop border punch. Very vanilla ribbon is glued across that. And the bow is attached with a mini glue dot. The greeting comes from the hostess set Best Yet, which will also be retiring Jan. 18th, since they will have all new hostess sets in the new catalog. The greeting is punched out with the 1 3/4 circle punch, and then layered onto a chocolate chip scalloped circle punch, and popped up using dimensionals. And don't forget about the photo corner punch on the top left corner! That is my most favorite part!!! The bottom is the larger of the punch on chocolate chip (this is starting to become my favorite SU color!), and then the smaller one is very vanilla with the Paisley background in what color you ask? Chocolate Chip!! There is also a silver brad on there for fun!
Hope you all are still enjoying your holidays and spending lots of great time with your families as I am!!!!
Happy Stampin!
