Weekend Sketch Challenge

Beate's Blog called Fresh & Fun is one I love to visit every week. She does a weekend sketch challenge, which comes out every Friday. You can see her sketch challenges here: http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/category/weekend-sketch-challenge/
I made this card following her latest sketch challenge. This uses my new package of long notes, there are 3 colors of long notes in each package, this happens to be river rock. And they come with envelopes, very easy to personalize to match your card! I also used some of my Ginger Blossom Designer Paper, which I love!! And the neat part is the stamped flower, which is stamped with black staz-on on a piece of vellum paper. I colored on the backside of the vellum with my blender pen and groovy guava ink. Then the whole top of the flower is covered with dazzling diamonds glitter and placed on the card with a dimensional. I love the sparkle!! The saying is also stamped on a piece of vellum, and then attached to the piece of ginger blossom paper with two silver brads, and attached to the card with more dimensionals. I used my black marker to add a little stitching around the whole card. Just a pretty springy card made with one of my favorite retired Stampin' Up! sets.
On another note, we have been having fun with this beautiful weather. The kids all have little brown tans already! Kyle is now in Little Leaque, so we have been watching his games a couple times a week. And Becky is getting ready for another ballet recital in another month. Lots of busy plans everywhere! So glad I am only working 1 day a week now! Hope you all are enjoying your families also!
Happy Stamping!
Jen
