Pantry Recycling Challenge

One of the past Demo Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers was to raid your pantry and see what you could recycle into a great project. Well, here's what I did today, only took me 15 minutes to complete both projects. The pencil/pen jar is a recycled Tostitos Spinach Dip Jar. Covered it in Berry Bliss Designer Paper (from Stampin' Up! of course). Also some Satin Pomegranate Ribbon and a small piece of white grosgrain ribbon. The rub-on across the bottom says friend.
The clock on the left was a gift, and I just recovered the face of the clock with some more berry bliss paper, and cut out the small spot for the time with my craft knife. There is also a rub-on on the clock that you can't see that says : A small thing done in great LOVE is a great thing.
These two projects are now sitting proudly on my computer desk! Makes me smile to see them! What do you have in your pantry that could be a great project or gift?
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!
Happy Stamping!
Jen

Love these two items together!! How very recycling of you to use the glass jar. I just purchased two coffee cups to use a pen holders- when I could have used my salsa & spinach dip jars that I threw away. Inspiring & cute!
