Here is a late Valentine's entry. These are cute little candy holders, perfect for holding a small chocolate bar, or some gum. And you'll never quess what they are made out of - envelopes! We made these at our last stamp class. Take a plain white envelope (A2 size), and score in half. Then cut the envelope flap in half and seal just the left side flap down. We then stamped in pretty in pink ink the little flower on both sides. Attached a tag on the right hand side. Pretty in pink ribbon went on the outside, and then our main image on the front. I showed the girls how to do the crayon resist technique for the heart image (see an early post for instructions on the crayon resist technique).
These would also be great for any holiday with a little chocolate tucked inside! Everything is better with chocolate!!
Don't forget, we will be having a stamp class at my house on Tuesday night (2/19) at 7pm. We will be making 4 projects using the Heartfelt Thanks stamp set. And there will be a special sale for that evening only on this stamp set. In addition to all the wonderful things going on for Stampin' Up!s Sale-A-Bration!! C-you all Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!
