Christmas Card Sunday

Ok, I know to some of you this may sound crazy, but I have already started my holiday cards and gifts for next Christmas! Some of my stamping friends have me convinced that I may actually be able to be prepared for the holidays and not so stressed out about everything! Well, I am shooting for the not as stressed part of it all.
So I have come up with a list of gifts that I would like to make for everyone. Most of them being all homemade gifts. And I have started working on some small things everyday. I have stocking stuffers made for the kids already! And some little gifts for my nieces and nephews too.
And I have a box full of Christmas cards that is slowly getting filled. So I will be so prepared next holiday season! I plan to also get a few packs of white envelopes and have them all decorated and ready to go for mailing after Thanksgiving!
I am so excited about this, so I thought I would share it with all of you. I know many of you may be sick of making holiday cards and gifts right now. But I thought it might be fun to have a different Christmas card on my blog each Sunday to help get your creative minds thinking about your holiday cards! What a fun way to use all of those great Christmas stamps and supplies that you have in your drawers!!!!! Many of the things that I am making use retired Stampin' Up! papers and cardstock. I have made a New Years resolution to myself to use up all of these pretty supplies that I have just been hoarding because I may need them someday! I hope to have all of my older In-Colors paper, ink, and accessories used up by the time the next new catalog comes out in July/August, so that I can buy more! I promise I will not be buying any new ones until the old ones are gone!
Ok, onto the card for this week. This is one of the cards that we made at my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack this past December. I had a few card kits leftover so I decided to make them all up. This card uses a whisper white cardbase. The blue card stock was cut out using the Top Note Die, and then stamped the house image from the To You and Yours stamp set with Basic Grey ink. The saying stamp From our house to yours was stamped with Bashful Blue ink on the bottom of the note. I used my two way glue pen to add some dazzling diamonds all over the snow and trees, it adds so much to a simple card! Then tied on a bashful blue ribbon. The whole top note is attached to the card using dimensionals. All supplies are available on my Stampin' Up! website: http://jenorbaker.stampinup.net.
Hope this inspires you all to get a head start on the holidays!
Happy Stamping!
Jen
