So sorry to all of you. Our internet service has been down for several months now, and I haven't been able to get online!! I feel so out of the loop! And I miss you all terribly!
We have been very busy with all of our summer activities. The kids have been having fun going to recreation. And Kyle went to a special camp last week. And of course we had our annual 4th of July party and had lots of family and friends over for a cook out, bonfire, and fireworks!
I had surgery on my foot at the end of June , so I have been hobbling around with crutches. But let me tell you, those things are dangerous! I was lucky to have someone in the family donate a walker with wheels to me! That thing is wonderful! The children, and my hubby, have been wonderful in helping me with all of the daily chores around the house. And my wonderful mother-in-law has been great in helping with rides for all of us, especially the kids, and taking me to my doctor's appointments and grocery shopping! I have a new found compasion for all of the patients that I take care of everyday, it's not easy to be the patient yourself! Or to go grocery shopping in one of those motorized shopping carts!
