6x6 Recipe Swap

I was supposed to meet some of my friends to stamp in Syracuse a few weekends ago, but unfortunately I wasn't able to go. These are 6x6 recipe swaps that I was going to take with me. I think I will just save them for the next get together! My recipe was for Strawberry Pizza. The recipe is layered onto bashful blue cardstock. Then some of the summer picnic designer paper from Stampin' Up!. The whole thing is on certainly celery cardstock. It goes just perfectly with this cute Tart & Tangy stamp set, that is punched out with the circle and scallop punches. And add a little detail from my white gel pen. Simple and cute! And great for summer time. Our weather here in Western New York is finally getting warmer I think. Josh and I went out and planted some flowers finally today. We had a frost again last night, that's the bad part about living out here in the hills. I hope we don't have anymore.

Sorry I haven't been around too much lately, just a lot of stuff going on here at home. Becky, my second child, hurt her foot on the playground at school and was home for most of the week last week. So went back to school today, but has asked to be homeschooled next year with her older brother. So now we are trying to decide what to do! I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle all three kids at home!

Hope you all are enjoying your families and the beautiful weather!
Happy Stamping!
Jen

Hard to imagine y'all had frost last night - we have been having over 100 degree weather straight for the last two weeks! Our flowers are dying from the heat - not the cold LOL!! Anyway, love this recipe card - this Summer Picnic paper is so fun to use with recipe cards! Good luck with all the decisions about homeschooling too!
