New Hostess Set

This is a neat little card that I made the other day using my new hostess set A Little Bit of Happiness. The card base color is River Rock, one of the Stampin' Up! In-Colors. The designer paper is called Ginger Blossom, and is just gorgeous! I stamped the image twice, layered the first one on more of the river rock and ginger blossom paper. For the second image, I punched it out with my smaller circle punch and watercolored the image using my classic ink pads (in-color colors!) and my blender pen. You just have to try this technique, it is so fun! Then I used my next larger size circle punch and punched out the black cardstock, layered, and used a dimensional to pop up the circle layer. That's it! Super easy and a neat effect.

You can check out Beate's tutorial on the spotlighting technique on SCS here:

A Heartfelt Thanks goes out to my ladies that came over to stamp with me last night! I had fun making those pretty cards using one of my favorite stamp sets. I will be planning another stamp night soon!!

Hope you all have a great day, Happy Stamping!
