Happy Valentine's Day!

Well it's officially Valentine's Day! And my hubby is also leaving for Texas today, so I have lots of errands to run this morning. But I wanted to post real quick this cute one layer card that I made yesterday for one of the Demonstrator Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. You had to make a one layer card, using masking, and a wheel. This particular wheel is called Watercolor Joy, and happens to be the only wheel that I own that isn't retired now. Color was pixie pink for the wheel. I cut out an oval with my coluzzle for the mask part. And then used two step stamping for the flower, which was colored in with my Stampin' Up! Markers ~ which I love!! I also used a sponge dauber and pretty in pink in to sponge around the edges of the oval, using the negative part of my mask.
We will be making this card at our stamp camp next week that is going to feature the stamp set Heartfelt Thanks. I have 4 different projects planned with that stamp set, and will have a special sale only on that night for a discount if you purchase the set Heartfelt Thanks! See me for details!
Also, if you are considering becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator now is the perfect time during Stampin' Up!s Sale-A-Bration! They have a limited time offer of 20% off the starter kit from Feb 1 - March 17. You can pruchase the starter kit _$330 worth of stamping and business supplies_ for just $159. That's 20% off the regular price. Plus they are giving you a FREE stamp set - of your choice from the new Spring-Summer Collection - up to a $47.95 value!!! What a great deal! See me for more details!!
Happy Stamping and Happy Valentine's Day!
