I have been crafting here and there, maing things for all my new co-workers and friends, and of course for my kids and their teachers. I will be doing a fall craft sale at my children's school next weekend and will be sharing with you all the cute little things that I am busily preparing for it!

Mother's Day

This card is going to be sent to my mom for Mother' Day, along with some of her favorite perfume. I can't wait until I live closer to her and get to celebrate Mother's Day with her again!!!!

I used my new scalloped circle nesties for this card! They are so fun to play with. And they work in my Cuttlebug! The image is from Whimsy Stamps~! Love them! I colored her in with my Stampin Up! markers. The paper is also Stampin' Up. The "with love" on the bottom was punched out with the word window punch. The little white strip of paper was embossed with my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

More Sweet Treats!

These are the Easter treats that we made for the kid's teachers this year. I think they all came out so cute! And they were so easy to make. I just used things that I allready had in a box in my closet, such as these cute little buckets!

I made 3 for my youngest's preschool teachers. And then 4 each for my older two children. And then as they were getting ready to go out for the bus this morning, they all complained that they needed one more because they had 5 teachers to give them to! What! So I'm glad that I kept them simple and easy, because I was able to whip up a few more very quickly! I hope their teachers like them, and that they get them before the kids eat them all up!

Sweet Easter Treats

Here are some little goodie bags that I made for my kiddos to take to school. These are the treats for all of their classmates. I will be sharing the teacher treats tomorrow.

On a personal note, we have decided to move to Florida!!! We are so very excited!!! So that is why I haven't been up to blogging much lately. We have put our house up for sale, and will be moving as soon as it's sold. Hopefully soon! So we have been busy with getting the house cleaned up and ready, and I have been getting rid of a lot of stuff. I'm such a packrat, lol!

Here's another card made for our family member. I'm thinking of getting him a bottle of gingerale and making a matching tag to tie around it. I'm not really sure what he likes to eat or munch on. Maybe I'll make him some cookies, everyone likes cookies right?

For this card I used whisper white, soft suede, and bermuda bay. I really didn't like Stampin' Up!s in-colors, but I am making myself use them up! I really am getting a lot of use out of everything in my stash and not having to buy new things so much! I really have a lot of stuff, lol!

Praying for you

We have a family member that is going to be going through some medical treatments for the next few weeks. So I have been busy making little treats and cards to share with him over the next month or so.

For this card I used my markers to color in the tree and also stamped the Praying for you on the bottom.

I used Whisper White, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry for my colors. I also used Soft Suede for the tree trunk and branches.

The top corners have a little paper piercing, but it's hard to see in the picture.

I also made a little bag topper that just says thinking of you, and filled it with hershey kisses to go along with this card.

I hope he likes it!

More Valentine's Goodies

Here is a little treat bag that I made for my hubby for Valentine's Day. I didn't want him to feel left out since I made such cute little gifts for the kids.

We usually don't do much for each other on Valentine's Day. Sometimes we go out to dinner by ourselves, but that won't happen this year since all of our babysitters will be in Florida on vacation, darn them, lol!

This is just a simple bag topper that was stamped with a retired set from SU, and I'm not even sure of the name of it. I had let someone borrow all of my Valentine's type stamps, and hadn't gotten them back yet. So I had to dig through a tote of stamps to find something appropriate.

I wonder how many of these kisses I can steal from him! Gotta have my chocolate too~!

Valentine's Day Mailboxes

These are the cute little Target mailboxes from the Dollar Spot. I've actually had these in my closet for a while and just found them while I was cleaning. I figured this was a great time to finally use them.

I made one for each of my kiddos (2 boys, 1 girl). And all I used was some scrap Stampin' Up! designer paper for each one. The little flags have scalloped circles on them with a stamped heart (Little Layers Plus stamp set, retired SU). My daughter's has a little jewel on hers that I had found on her bedroom floor while cleaning the other day, lol!

I also made them each a little matching 3x3 card with more scrap paper. I love using scraps to make projects!

They are all filled with goodies: hershey kisses, heart suckers, gum, dip sticks, and peppermint patties.

I am planning on making homemade waffles, fresh strawberries, and cool whip for Sunday morning breakfast and putting these cute little mailboxes at their spots. Oh, and don't forget my daughter's favorite thing on Sunday mornings, SAUSAGE!!

Valentine's Bag Toppers

These are the little Valentine's treats that I made for my kid's teachers this year. They were so easy to make! I started with the small size cello bags from Stampin' Up!, and filled them with m&m's. I ate lots of the m&m's too!

Then I used the in-color Melon Mambo from SU! to make the topper. The whisper white layer is also stamped with the Melon Mambo color and a retired stamp from SU! that says Happy Valentine's Day!

The star brads were from my stash of goodies, who knows where they came from.

I'm sure the kids will love passing these out to their teachers this year!

Bright Birthday Fun!

I used some birthday stickers that I had gotten on clearance for $1 to make a set of 3 Birthday cards since I needed to increase my stash of birthday cards.

I paired the bright stickers with Stampin' Up!s in-colors, which are a little bright for me.

All of my cards are white, and have layers with white embossed with the swiss dots Cuttlebug folder.

Here is a picture of all 3 of them together, and the matching stamped envelopes. I feel so good having birthday cards all ready to go in a hurry~

Blue & White Birthday

This is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square card that I made for my brother's birthday. I'm not sure where the penquin came from, he was stamped for me by a friend. But I think he's so cute in his swimming trunks and a popsicle in his hand. The white layer underneath was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder. The birthday saying was stamped and punched out with Stampin' Up! punches and layered on with pop-dots.

I made this for the Stamp Something Challenge for today which was use blue & white. I used the bright color Brilliant Blue which I hardly ever use. I also layered with some black to tie in the colors of the penquin.

Hope you all have a great weekend. We are all getting over the flu bug at our house, so lots of cleaning, laundry, and shampooing of the carpets.

More Decorating

This is a wall by our front door that we painted this past summer. The front room was our first start at re-doing the house. It had all white walls to start with. We did sponge painting with a beige/brown combo on the top half of the walls, followed by a country border. I just had to have this Decor Elements tree and saying from Stampin' Up! to place on the wall too! I think it goes perfectly. And I was able to put it up all by myself! I can't wait to get more of these to try, they are so fun and easy!

A Cool Scrapbooking Project!

I have been in this huge cleaning frenzy this past week. I think I have cleaned out almost every cupboard in our kitchen, lol! And I'm not finished yet! As you can see I went a little scrapbook crazy as I was organizing the photos on the fridge this morning. I can't wait to see what my hubby says when he gets home. I know my kids will love having all of their favorite people on the fridge for them to see every day. It is a great way for them to remember Grandparents and family down in Florida that we don't get to see very often.

This second photo is a closeup of the 'family' decoration that I cut out using my Cricut. I am still getting used to using it and figuring out all of the buttons and different features. Can't wait to make more decorations using it!

Let It Snow!

We are getting more snow here in New York. So I thought this was perfect timing to make this decoration. I made this for a Christmas gift for next year actually! I am so going to be ready for Christmas next year, lol!

This is made out of 4x4 square chipboard coasters. So it fits in perfectly with the Whimsy Challenge for using chipboard! You can see the details of the challenge on their blog here: Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog.

I used the cute snowman from Whimsy Stamps on both of the ends. The designer paper is retired Stampin' Up! (Holiday Treasures). After I glued on the paper to the coasters, I then sanded all the edges. The snowmen are colored in with my SU markers and also have glitter all over them.

The SNOW letters are also from SU and they are from the Decor Elements line, so they are vinyl. They have been sitting on my desk for a while and begging for me to use them! This fit in perfectly for the Stamp Something Challenge Blog of using something new!

I then used my cropadile to punch holes in the chipboard and used various SU ribbon (some retired) to hold it all together.

I just might have to make one for myself to use also!

Fleece Blankets

Here are the 3 fleece blankets that I made for my kiddos this year. They are from JoAnne's and all are the no-sew fleece blankets kits. My two oldest got the larger size, and my youngest got a smaller size. These are so super soft, and also so super easy to do. I actually have been so busy and didn't start these until the night before! They took me about an hour each to get them done. Note to self: finish making all the handmade gifts before Christmas Eve!!!

Of course, we weren't counting on my mother-in-law to end up in the hospital for the holiday either. She is on the road to recovery, and hopefully will be home soon, but it sure did change our holiday plans!

Cute Kitty!

Isn't this a cute little kitty, all wrapped up! This is another one of my new Whimsy Stamps that I bought for myself! I love their new Christmas images! This kitty is just perfect for paper piecing. I used a green dotted Christmas paper for the box and some sparkly gold paper for the bow. I love all the sparkle! The designer paper is from a DCWV pack from JoAnn's. The card base is also from JoAnn's. I used my Stampin' Up! punches for the greeting. The saying 'for you' is also a Whimsy Stamp.

I love still being able to work on holiday cards for next year! Keeps Christmas alive all year long for me!

Gift for Baby Erika

My sister is expecting her third baby girl, Erika, in April of next year. She will be my 6th niece!!! So for Christmas, I sent this baby gift down to her in Florida.

I crocheted her a baby blanket, matching booties, and beanie type cap all for baby. I choose white with yellow accents for baby Erika since I'm sure they have tons of pink and purple allready! Plus I wasn't sure what she was having when I started making this set.

New babies are so exciting! I just wish I knew how to make things like this when I was having my children!

Countdown to Christmas

I acutally made this Christmas Countdown Calendar last year for my nieces down in Florida. I sent it down to them this year for a gift. It uses a chipboard square and Stampin' Up! paper. The scalloped circle numbers have little magnets on the backs of them and attach to washers that are glued on the front. There is an envelope on the back of the calendar to store the extra numbers. The bottom of the calendar has snow flurries and some pretty pearls. I hope they enjoy using this for years to come!

N'ice Friends

Isn't this the cutetest little snowman? I just love all snowman images and had to have this one from Whimsy Stamps. He is called N'ice Friends and was designed by Crissy Armstrong.

The card turned out to be 5.5 x 6 inches and uses Stampin' Up! designer paper called Christmas Cocoa. I love this paper!! I cut the snowflakes using my Cricut. The cute snowman is colored in using my SU markers and then outlined with my glitter pen. The snowflakes also have glitter. It is very sparkly!

I am excited to say that while my Christmas supplies are out I will be working on starting my holiday cards for next year! My Christmas Card Challenge that I participate in on Splitcoaststampers has me making 10 cards a month so that I will have a whole box full of cards come Thanksgiving time next year all ready to go! I think I may be making 10 of this design card for my January cards since I have everything out and this is so fast and easy to do.

Gift Card Holder

This is a gift card holder that I made for my brother. It has a gift card to Sonny's inside. I had a hard time figuring out what to get him for Christmas this year. But I know that this is something that he will actually use and enjoy! This last winter when we were down visiting Florida, we all went out to dinner at Sonny's. You would not believe all the ribs that boy can eat, lol!

The outside of the tin is decorated with designer paper, and a scallop punched circle with silver embossing. The inside also has more paper.

Now I just have to get it down to Florida in time for Christmas!

Update on Stamping Nurse

Well, as you all can see this Stamping Nurse hasn't been stamping lately!! I have been filling in at the Dr's office, but his nurse is back to work now. I have also been filling in at the Nursing Home on night shift, which has left me terribly tired all of the time. And I am now going to be babysitting for my little niece during the day soon! I am so excited to have a baby joining us soon!

Along with all of this I have been diganosed with Fibomyalgia. So I have been trying to take care of my health and get to feeling better, but it has been tough.

The children and I are also all in the Christmas play again this year, so we are busy with practices all the time.

And my oldest child, who just turned 11 yesterday, came down with the swine flu last week! So I've been busy taking care of him and my husband who also had the flu.

So as you can see, we've been busy! I am so sorry that I've been neglecting all my stamping duties, but I have also decided to not be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator anymore. I just have way too many things on my plate at this time, and I couldn't keep up with all of the current SU rules!

So I will be returning to my blogging this week, and you will see many changes on my blog, but I will be back! I will be sharing with you all of my crafting, stamping, crocheting, scrapbooking things that I have been making. I have been busy getting ready for the upcoming holiday season and can't wait to share all my projects with you all! But they will be made with a variety of products, I will no longer be a SU only blog! I am enjoying using lots of different companies things! Plus using up all of my SU stash that I have accumulated, most of it will be retired items!

Busy, busy, busy

So sorry to you all who have been reading my blog. I have been a bad blogger lately. We just have been really busy, and I have been back to work, so not a lot of time for stamping and blogging! The kids have all started school today. And I have been filling in for the nurse at our dr's office for a little while. I am hoping to be back to my blogging and stamping soon! I miss you all!

Christmas Card class

Here are a few more photos of the projects that we made at our Christmas in July class last night.

For this first card we used a retired stamp set from Stampin' Up! called To You & Yours. It was sold last year during the holidays. We used the Poppin' Pastels Technique for the pretty blue dove. If you have never done that before, you just stamp your image in
Versamark ink, and then using a sponge dauber, cover it with the chalk color of your choice. It is a great way to use your Stampin' Up! Pastels!

We also used the eyelete border punch along the one side of our cardstock before adding the ribbon for another pretty little touch.

Our next card was a simple no layer card. It only uses one 1/2 sheet of Whisper White cardstock! I love these simple cards!

We stamped the image from the stamp set called Home for Christmas which is available in the new Stampin' Up! catalog! It was stamped with Brown Stazon ink, and then colored in in a few places with Stampin' Up! markers. Each girl colored theirs a little differently, so they all came out different! I love that! We used some new In-Color Ribbon - Soft Suede - I really like the polka dots on it~

Each girl that came last night also got their very own copy of the new Idea Book & Catalog included in their class fees! It is just full of terrific cards, scrapbook pages, and project ideas!! If you would like your own copy, just let me know, and I'll get one to you!

Holiday Organizer

I made this organizer completely using the Simply Scrappin' Kit called Christmas Jingle (available on my SU website). I love that all the cardstock stickers, designer paper, and cardstock all match! It makes it so much easier to color coordinate for me!

Christmas in July

My card today is for Christmas in July! Of course, I have been making at least 10 Christmas cards each month since January, so I allready have a whole box full of x-mas cards ready to go! Gotta plan ahead! No, I just really love making x-mas cards all year long! Keeps me in the mood!

My image today is a Riley Moose image from Hannah Stamps. He was stamped for me by one of my online stamping friends. Isn't he the cutest carrying his x-mas tree home?

The designer paper that I used is called Ski Slope and was sold by Stampin' Up! last year. I also used my Cuttlebug and the snowflake embossing folder for the white layer.

This second picture shows how I decorated the inside of the card. I kept it fairly simple, but just wanted to show you how I've been 'dressing up' the insides of my cards instead of just leaving them plain.

Hope this inspires some of you to start with your holiday cards soon!

Happy Birthday In-Colors

This card is brought to you from Stampin' Up! again! I love the pretty In-Colors that they have used on this! I haven't had a lot of time to stamp this week. Have been really busy with the kids, and working nightshift. Plus I just got a new job working in a Dr's office as a part-time nurse, just filling in for the other ladies! Hoping to be able to get off of night shift soon! Hope you all are having a great week!

Instructions

Happy Birthday card (4" x 4")

1. Stamp circle images in Bermuda Bay ink diagonally across Bermuda Bay textured card.

2. Stamp circle image in Crushed Curry ink on Crushed Curry card stock, punch out using 1" Circle punch, and adhere to card.

3. Stamp large circle image in Melon Mambo ink on Whisper White card stock, punch out using 1-3/4" Circle punch, and adhere to Metal Edge tag. Fold Pumpkin Pie 1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon in half and adhere behind tag. Adhere tag to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4. Stamp sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper White card stock (1-7/8" x 5/16"), and snip right end. Punch hole in left side of card stock using 1/16" Circle punch, and attach Clear Rhinestone brad. Adhere to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Birthday Whimsy Frog

Here are some projects that I have made for my daughter's birthday. We are having her 8th birthday party this next Sunday at a local park that has a sprinkler and an awesome playground for the kids to play on.

I used my adorable frog stamp from Whimsy Stamps, and it fits perfectly in the birthday theme for their challenge blog.

I have made her a card using all Stampin' Up! cardstock. I used some colors which I am really not used to using: Brilliant Blue, Rose Red, Garden Green, and More Mustard. They go perfectly with Stampin' Up!s new designer paper called Tall Tales! I fauxed stitched on the green layer, and connected the dots with my white gel pen.

Then I made her a matching corner bookmark using the directions on my last blog post. Doesn't it look cute with her name on it? I just used a Rebecca sticker for that part.

Lastly, I made her a matching little notepad that has the matching designer paper, and another Rebecca sticker.

Don’t Forget bookmark

1. Scallop bottom edge of Old Olive textured card stock (3-7/8" x 4") using Scallop Edge punch. Mark top center point. Measure 2" down on right side and mark; repeat on left side. Score diagonal lines from center point to each 2" point. Fold score lines and adhere ends in back.

2. Adhere Old Olive Patterns Designer Series paper (3-7/8" x 3-1/4") to top of Old Olive textured card stock, folding corners around back of bookmark.

3. Stamp elephant image in Jet Black StazOn ink on Naturals White card stock. Watercolor image with Going Gray and Rose Red ink using blender pens. Punch out image using 1-3/4" Circle punch, and adhere to Metal Edge tag.

4. Punch flower from Rose Red textured card stock using Trio Flower punch. Punch hole in center of flower using 1/16" Circle punch, and attach Silver brad. Adhere flower to tag with Mini Glue Dot, and adhere tag to bookmark using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5. Tie Old Olive 1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon around bookmark.

For this card I used my new stamp set called Wings of Friendship. It is a level 2 Hostess set, which means that you need to hold a Stampin' Up! workshop of your very own to get it. I also used my new In-Color Markers to color it in. I love having the new In-Colors in markers this year! I am so excited about that!!!!

If you look close I also used some new In-Color textured paper for one of the layers. And the designer paper is also new and called Tall Tales. I used the scallop border punch on the designer paper layer. I also used my tool kit and pierced all away around the edges.

I made this card for another Whimsy Challenge. Today was my last day as guest designer for their challenge blog. I really enjoyed being their guest designer for the month of June! They have some of the cutest stamps! I'm still waiting for Denise to come out with a cow stamp, lol!

For this card I used the cute Whimsy Duck. I had received these stamped images from a friend. I cut out two of them and gave them little party hats since this is a Birthday card! For the background I used the faux grid technique that I saw over on Dawn's blog. She does a great tutorial video for this technique, you should check her out!

Just Chicken In

I saw a card like this in a magazine and just couldn't resist making it. It says "Just Chicken In." Isn't it adorable?

The stamp set is called Best of Cluck and is retired Stampin' Up! I used the photo corner punch for the yellow layer underneath the chicken. And I also added 2 silver brads on the top.

The chicken wire stamp was just a background stamp that I had gotten from someone, there is no name on the stamp. But I know that Stampin' Up! used to have one just like this a few years ago.

I used my Stampin' Up! sponges and sponged chocolate chip ink around the edges of all the cardstock.

Wedding Invitation Samples

Yes, I still have more wedding invitation samples to share with you all. This one was made with purely pomegranate cardstock. The white layer was stamped with God's Beauty stamp set. The two pink flowers are cut out and a pretty rhinestone brad placed in the center. Just a simple, yet pretty invitation.

This sample is a single layer invite also. Made with basic black, cameo coral, and whisper white. The cameo strip layer is embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. I like the scallop circle punch with the horseshoe stamp on the inside. That could very easily be changed to a monogram stamp for the couples last name. Also very easy to change the colors to match the couple's wedding theme.

This is a reception card that I had made to match one of the other wedding samples that I had made. This first picture is the outside, just embossed with the Cuttlebug.

And this is the inside with all of the information and a little stamping to match the inviation with the paisley pattern.

Cased Wedding Towels Card

I totally cased this card from Lori's Blog. She had a lot of really nice cards that I just had to make! And since I needed a card for the bridal shower this past weekend, this one was perfect!

I used retired Soft Sky paper and ink on my card, but you can easily use any color! I also didn't have a Mr and Mrs stamp, so I just hand wrote those on. Isn't this too cute? This would be perfect for any wedding, bridal shower, or anniversary!

The towels measure 1 1/4 x 3 1/2, and they were run through my Cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder. I also used more soft sky paper and the eyelet border punch to make the little details at the bottom of the towels.

With Love Whimsy

I really love this Whimsy Frog!! I made this for the Whimsy Challenge Blog this week. We had to do a Recipe Challenge: 2 papers, 1 ribbon, and 3 brads.

As you can see, I am directionally challenged also! I did use 2 papers, the designer paper is double sided, so I just flipped the one over. And I also used 3 jumbo eylettes instead of brads, oh well! What's a girl to do? I think it turned out cute!

I distressed all the edges of the paper with my sponge and choc chip ink. And I added the white dots to the scallop circle with my white gel pen. I really had fun making this card!

Lucky Duck!

This is another cute card using the Wagon Full of Fun stamp set and the Pairsian Breeze Paper. Love them!!!!! I wish I had more of this cute little duck image! I kept it plain and simple and just colored him in with my Stampin' Up! markers. I used the ticket corner punch and added some silver brads on all 4 corners. I also punched out the Lucky Duck! saying with my large oval punch, and used the scalloped oval punch in close to cocoa behind it. Placed it on the card using my dimensionals - from Stampin' Up! Love those little pop-up dots. I think I just about use them on every project these days.

Wagon Full of Fun

This cute little duck image comes from the stamp set called Wagon Full of Fun by Stampin' Up! Isn't he cute? I don't own this set, but was sent some stamped images from a friend. Now I really want this set!!!

I've had these images for several weeks and haven't done anything with them until I was on Jenn D's blog. She has made the cutest projects with this little duck!!! This card was totally cased from her card here.

This was my first time using the Parisian Breeze Specialty paper from Stampin' Up! I can't believe I waited so long to get some of this gorgeous paper!!!!! And it is retiring next week. You better get some now!!!!! It is the most wonderful textured paper that I've used!!!!

It has great images and sayings that are perfect for Father's Day, or a guy birthday. I am not the greatest at the manly type cards, so this set is perfect for me.

I cased the idea of this card from the gallery over on Splitcoaststampers. I loved the idea of the little golf ball. So how did I make my golf ball you may ask? I embossed white cardstock using my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder. I punched out the circle and flipped it over to the backside, voila, instant golf ball. It is put on the card using a dimensional to pop it up! So cute, I mean, so manly!

Bridal Stationery Set

Butterfly Thank Yous

Here are some more of the Thank You cards that I made for a bridal shower gift. I can't wait to show you the finished project, I am so excited to give it to her!

I made a total of 20 thank you cards with matching envelopes for the bride. All of the cards use the Eyelet Border Punch (#113692 $15.95 from Stampin' Up!). I think it adds such a pretty touch to the bottom of the cards, and it's so very simple to do!

I also used the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Dies on some of the cards. They make the prettiest little butterflies. Now most of you know that I still do not own my Big Shot machine that I so desperately want, but this is another die that I have just used with my Cuttlebug! So easy! The Beautiful Butterflies die is #114507 and is just $21.95. I can't wait to make more projects with it!

Cased Delicate Dots Thank Yous

I needed a gift for a bridal shower that I am attending soon, and wanted to make something homemade for the bride. So while I was blog surfing one night I came across Patty Bennett's blog - she is awesome! I cased these Thank You notes using the Delicate Dots Designer Paper that you could get for during during SU's SAB that they recently had. And since I had two packages sitting here in my craft room unopenend I thought they would be perfect to give to the bride! I also stamped a set of matching envelopes and will be making her more stationary items, such as a journal and RSVP to go along with the set.

As you can see, I did change up the cards a little bit, using what stamp sets and ribbon that I had, but they still follow her basic idea. She used the little note cards that you can buy from SU!, but I used whisper white cardstock and made regular sized cards.

This week over at the Whimsy Challenge Blog we had to make a Thank You card or project. I made this cute little Thank You card in five quick minutes last night! I love only taking a few minutes to thank someone! And I was also so very good at using up some scrap paper and ribbon from my stash! Whimsy Guest Designer!!!!

I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for the month of June over at the Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog!!!! This week was a sketch challenge, you can see the sketch over at their blog. I decided to do a 6x6 scrapbook page for mine. This turtle photo was from a field trip to the zoo that I took with my oldest son and his class several years ago. I thought the cute little Whimsy Turtle went so well with him! He is colored in with Stampin Up markers and I used my White Signo Gel Pen for some highlights. You can also get the white gel pen from Stampin Up! All the papers are from SU and are called A Walk in the Park.

We are having a dark rainy day today here in Western New York. Hopefully I'll have some time to get a little stamping done! Gotta go run and get some groceries first though, I'm out of coffee!!!!

Bookmarks

My Mother-in-Law asked me to help her make some bookmarks for the ladies in her Bible Study Class. They were studying about a lady in the bible, I can't remember who now, and the red ribbon symbolizes something special, so it had to have a red ribbon on it.

I choose the designer paper called Walk in The Park from Stampin' Up! It has such great colors in it! You can see the front of the bookmarks here in the first photo. The saying is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil. 4:13." The stamp for this came from Verve Stamps.

The backs of the bookmarks were stamped with the hostess set called God's Beauty, also from Stampin' Up!

I think they turned out beautiful and I hope all the ladies at her Bible Study like them also.

My daughter and I are going to make some of these for her dance teacher's thank you gifts this week!

Golden Oldies

I made this card using the stamp set Golden Oldies. It is in the Mini-Catalog from Stampin' Up! and you can order it on my website: http://jenorbaker.stampinup.net.

I did use some retired designer paper and cardstock for this card, but I really have so much that I need to use up before the new catalog comes out in July and I want to buy more!!!

I stamped the old man image onto whisper white cardstock. He is colored in using the watercolor pencils and then with the blender pen. I love using blender pens! I then doodled a little around the edges.

The saying "I still have a full deck. I just shuffle slower." is too funny! I think I might send this down to my Dad in Florida! I always pick on him about playing shuffle board with the older people in their retirement park, and now that they've moved out of there he might miss them, lol! I used the large oval and scallop oval punches for the saying.

I love the jumbo brads on the left hand side. I think I got this idea from a card that I saw in the Splitcoast Stampers gallery. I placed them all very easily using my Crop-A-Dile! I really love that tool. I need to get a new one because mine is broken and I can't set the regular eyelettes with it anymore. Did you know that Stampin' Up! sells the Crop-A-Dile? I will be getting a new one soon I hope!

I thought the colors were a great reminder that summer is coming, even though it is cold tonight! We actually have a frost warning and I had to cover up all the vegetables that I've been busy planting.

The Whimsy image and the dew drops were all given to me from some online stamping friends over at Splitcoast Stampers. All of the cardstock and ink were from Stampin' Up! And the saying "Life's a Beach" is from My Favorite Things - Twisted Sayings stamp set.

Stamp Something Sketch Challenge

I needed to get a Get Well card out in the mail today, so I used the Stamp Somethings Sketch Challenge for this week. You can see the details of the challenge over on their blog. I really like using Emily's sketches! She is such a talented stamper!

I actually never even stamped on my card this morning, because I am in a hurry, got tons to do today! The image in the center is actually a sticker from my stash! It says "The blessings around us and joys that we know, Are constant reminders that God loves us so. Emily Matthews". I thought that was a perfect saying to start the day!

My cardstock base for the card is Whisper white. And the designer paper that I used is a hostess pack from Stampin' Up! that only hostesses were allowed to get. I love that all of Stampin' Up!s designer papers are two sided and coordinate so well together!

I'm not sure where the Wishing You Well saying came from. My mother-in-law had stamped out a bunch of sayings, so this was in my stash. The yellow hardware with the navy brads also were in the stash.

I placed a sticker on the inside that says "Don't be afraid to dream, for out of such fragile things come miracles. Emily Matthews".

Flower Power Owl

This card was done for Whimsy's Challenge Blog. You can see the details of the challenge over on their blog. But basically you had to use some type of flowers on your creation.

I used the cute little Whimsy Owl for my image. The designer paper in the background has flowers on it, it is also sponged with choc chip ink using Stampin' Up!s awesome sponges!

The main image panel is also sponged with choc chip, and I used my tool kit to put little holes all the way around it.

I have no idea where this flower came from, it was in my stash that I got from my mother-in-law. It is cream in color and says love, celebrate, share, friend, fun, hope, etc. I put a rhinestone brad in the center (also from SU).

I wasn't sure who this card is going to, so I left it blank for now. I'm sure I'll find a good recipient for it! I love having a whole basket full of cards so that I can just grab one when the occasion calls for it. And everyone knows that they can come to me when they need a quick card, cause chances are I have one!

Clean & Simple Thank You

This is a Clean & Simple Thank You card that was made for another Stamp Something Challenge. You can see the details of this week's challenge over at the Stamp Something Blog.

Everything on this card is from Stampin' Up! except for the ribbon. The ribbon is an old olive type of color with navy blue stitching in it. The designer paper is from a past hostess pack of paper, and it is more mustard. I took some colors from the Stampin' Up! color wheel to match with the mustard. These really aren't my typical colors, so I needed help with the matching and coordinating part of it all! The color wheel really does help if you are stuck!

I used the Oval All stamp set, which coordinates perfectly with the large oval and scallop oval punch, all from Stampin' Up! I added it to my card with some dimensionals.

This card was quick and easy to make this morning while the kids were doing their school work. All the regular kids have today off for the holiday since they didn't have many snow days. But my poor unfortunate children are doing school today and tomorrow to catch up so that we can be done with this homeschooling thing! It really takes up a lot of my time and patience, lol!

Have a wonderful and beautiful day! We are planting our vegetables and flower gardens this afternoon, and even taking the kids for a picnic lunch at the park!

Elegant Wedding Sample

This wedding invitation is so pretty in person. The base is whisper white, and then a layer of purely pomegranate. The image is on whisper white also, and embossed with silver embossing powder. The stamp set used is Baroque Motifs. I just love this stamp set from Stampin' Up! It can be used for so many different things! The ribbon is also from Stampin Up! and is just tied in a little knot.

I really love doing embossing, but I'm kinda glad that she didn't choose this one, because that would have been a lot of embossing to do!

If you haven't tried embossing before you should give it a try! It is such a fun technique. I love watching the embossing powder melt into a shiny finish! Stampin' Up! has all of the tools that you may need for all of your embossing needs. Lots of powders, powder trays, heating tools, etc.

Proud to be an American

Since it is National Scrapbook Month, I figured I might as well do a scrapbook page, lol! I really miss all the scrapbooking that I used to do. That's how I first got started was scrapbooking! And I am slowly getting scrapbooks done for all of my children, slowly! I really need to spend more time getting caught up. But it seems so overwhelming at first. I find that if I take a little time to organize my photos first it helps so much. I sort out my photos into photo boxes for each child, and then one for myself, so that I know which photos are going into each child's book.

I am also working on a hertiage type book, so I am collecting info and photos from my parents and grandparents and also on my husband's side of the family, so that I can make a heritage scrapbook to pass along to my children about their grandparents, greatgrandparents, and then a couple pages about us. My hope is that they will continue the tradition and add their own pages to pass along to their children.

Anyways, onto my page for today. I made this yesterday really quick, and I didn't use my Stampin' Up! paper, I know, shock! I really have been trying to use up all of this paper that I have in my craft room, which I have so much more of since my mil gave me even more, lol! This designer paper was from PaperCrate. I love the distressed look that it has. I only sponged some brown around the edges of the little blue stripe. The photo itself and the two little journaling strips are popped up on dimensionals. The little Proud to be an American tag was stamped and punched out with SU's scallop square punch, and then also sponged with brown ink. It also is up on dimensionals. The twill ribbon makes the perfect accent I think.

The photo is back from 1975, taken even before I was born. This is my Uncle Rod. He was one of my favorite uncle's growing up. He was so much fun! He even took my to get my ears pierced for my 12th birthday! He now lives over in Germany and I don't get to talk to him. He reminds me of my little brother Robbie. He looks like him and even acts like him, lol, always into trouble!

I am going to hang this page up in a black frame that I bought yesterday and put it up in the living room for a while before I put it into the scrapbook I think! I really like this one!

Stamp Something Challenge

Here is my card for this week's challenge. You can see the full details of the challenge over at the Stamp Something Blog. This week we were Caseing one of Cindy's delightful creations and making something for Mother's Day.

I made this card for my mother-in-law to go along with this coffee mug. All the cardstock is retired in-color paper from Stampin' Up! last year (river rock, groovy guava, and the designer paper is from a simply scrappin kit also from last year.).

The image is Willow from Whiff of Joy stamps. I received this image in the mail yesterday from a nice stamper on Splitcoast Stampers. The flowers I received from my mother-in-law. They were little flower charms, but I just snipped off the back part and used mini-glue dots to place them on the card.

I colored in the image with my Stampin' Up! markers. And the ribbon is just some assorted ribbon that I had in the ribbon bin!

Simple Wedding invites

These two wedding invitations are super simple and easy to make! They are just cardstock stamped with flowers, and then a layer of vellum on top. The wording would go on the vellom, but my printer is out of ink - so you'll just have to imagine it being there!

The one on the left is green with green flowers. And the vellum is aatached with ribbon.

The one on the right is black with white flowers. And the vellum is aatached with white eyeletts.

Top Note Wedding Invitation

This invite is all whisper white cardstock! The base of the invite is stamped with blue and green flowers. And the top note die layer is popped up on dimensionals. The actual wording for the invite would go on the top note part.

As with all of these samples, they can be done in any color or with any stamp set you wish. These are just some examples that I've made. They can be customized to suit your wedding theme and colors!

Manhattan Wedding Samples

These wedding invitations both use the new Manhattan Textured Die from Stampin' Up! And since I still don't have my Big Shot yet, I ran it through my Cuttlebug. Just stunning they are! You really have to see them in person to see all the details! These are just plain and simple invites, which she didn't pick.

If you want to see which one she picked, just scroll down. The bride picked the brown western invites with the horseshoe on the top, and the paisley background stamp underneath the vellum. She ordered 40 ceremony invitations and 145 reception cards. I have my order placed for all the supplies, and once they get here I will be super busy!

She also gave all of my samples to her friend who is getting married in October, so I may have more wedding invitations to do soon! I love this stamping business!

Monochromatic Challenge over at Whimsy!

First of all, I won!!! Yippy!!! I won the Whimsy Challenge from last week with my cute little party turtle!!!! So I will be receiving two new Whimsy Stamps soon! Head on over to the Whimsy Challenge Blog for this weeks new challenge.

This challenge is all about color, but we don't want to see too many different colors, just your favorite one paired with one neutral. We are challenging you to make a monochromatic project!Our definition of monochromatic for this challenge is one neutral paired with one other color. You may use as many different shades of that one color, but you may only use one color and one neutral. You also, of course, need to include a Whimsy Stamps image in your project.

Now since you all know that my favorite color in the world is Certainly Celery, I choose that to be my color. And doesn't this cute little Whimsy Frog look adorable all in green? I did use two neutrals on my card, black and white, but I figure black and white as one neutral in my little world, lol!

The saying on the top of the card says 'Thanks so much' and is just a clear dollar stamp. The inside of the card has more cert. celery paper, and says 'Have a great day'. I also stamped a dragonfly on the inside.

The cute froggy is just colored in with all of my green watercolor pencils from Stampin Up! and a blender pen.

Easter Bunnies

I thought I would take a break from all of the wedding samples that I've been sharing with you (and yes I do have lots more~!).

These are cute little Easter bunnies that we made with punches. We made them into the cute little peppermint patty sandwhiches that you've seen everyone else make. The kids and I really enjoy making them for every holiday these days! They are so cute and easy to make!

Punches used to make these: Scallop Circle, Large Oval, Regular Hole Punch, Heart to Heart Punch (for his nose). And then we just used markers to color in his ears, mouth, and whiskers.

As I sit here and type this to all it is snowing like crazy, you know those big old fluffy snowflakes that make me crazy!! Yes it is snowing!!! This is just crazy. I'm sitting here dying to get outside in my flower beds and plant, and it's snowing. I hate living in Centerville!

Classy Wedding Invitations

These samples were fairly easy to make also. The one on the left uses Purely Pomegranate cardstock and the background piece was run through the Cuttlebug. It also has some basic gray cardstock. The ribbon was pulled through two hold punches in the middle of the wording.

The invitation on the right also used Purely Pomegranate cardstock, but uses black and white. And the ribbon is tied in a little different way.

I like both of these also, but my husband chose the one on the left as his favorite one, not sure why. He wasn't very helpful with the comments about them. I'm glad he let me pick out ours when we were shopping for wedding stuff! Who knows what we would have had if I let him decide! Now that I think about it, he didn't pick out harldy anything for our wedding! He did pick out the tuxes for himself and the guys, but other than that, I don't think he did much! Poor thing!

Tulip Wedding Samples

This wedding invitation has a layer of purple cardstock. The tulip is stamped onto the white layer. And then there is a layer of vellum cardstock overtop, which is where the wedding info would be printed. But I have run out of ink in my printer, so I wasn't able to put that on this one. And there is a pretty satin white ribbon at the top to attach the vellum.

This is an easy invitation to make, and to customize. She could used any color, and stamp underneath, any ribbon, etc. The bride wasn't sure what her colors or theme really was when I was talking to her about making some samples, so it made it a little more difficult to make samples!

I hope she likes this one, because it is one of my favorites!

Stamp Something Challenge

You can see this weeks Stamp Something Challenge on their blog.

This week we have a fun challenge for you. It's all about shapes. Let's see how many shapes you can fit onto your projects. The minimum number of shapes to qualify is two, but the sky is the limit on the maximum number of shapes you can include.

Shapes that I used on my card: polk-a-dots, circle, square, rectangle, oval.

The designer paper is called Spring Fling, and is a retired paper from Stampin' Up! See, I really am using up all of my stash! I have soooo much!

The image is a Riley Moose image, and I received him in the mail from a friend. He is so very cute in his little egg shell! He is punched out using an oval punch. And I put little dots with my black marker all around the oval. He is raised up on the card using dimensionals.

I also used the black marker and put faux stitching all around the card. The bottom right hand corner has a little square with faux stitching. And a cute button (from Stampin' Up!). I used mini glue dots to place the button on the card.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! We are headed outside to do some yard work after we are done doing school with the kids. Kyle, my oldest, just came home from a trip to New Mexico with his Uncle and Grandpa. They went to pick up some horses down there. So we have a lot of catching up to do with his schoolwork! Western Wedding Samples

The invitation is on the left hand side. It uses close to cocoa cardstock that is stamped with the Paisley background stamp. The top inch is folded down over the vellum and some twine is tied up at the top. The vellum is printed with all of the wedding info, and has a silver star embossed on the bottom.

The matching reception card also has all the info printed on vellum. There are horses stamped underneath. And it is attached using the slit punch.

These are fairly simple and easy invites also. She hasn't come to pick out which ones she wants yet, but I have lots more to share with you all!

Whimsy Challenge Blog

This card is for the very first Whimsy Challenge on their new blog! The challenge was to make a card for a special occasion or celebration. So I made this for a special friend on Splitcoaststampers because it is her birthday soon. This is my very first time using the Whimsy Stamps and I am really glad I got this cute turtle. I also ordered the adorable frog one. I am really into frogs and turtles. All of my outdoor garden decorations are frogs and turtles!

My cardstock for this card is a whisper white base, the mat layer is some retired river rock and soft sky, and the scallop circle layer is wild wasabi (notice how I'm still using up all my retired paper and the tons of stash paper that I have, yahoo!). I have no idea where the designer paper comes from. I have mentioned before that my mother-in-law gave me tons of her stamping stuff when she decided not to stamp anymore, so this paper is from a huge! pile of paper that she gave me.

I stamped the turtle on water color paper and cut him out with my Cullozle (retired SU). He is watercolored in with soft sky, wild wasabi, and certainly celery inks using my ink pads and a blender pen. I also sponged some soft sky around the sky part and edges. The rocks are close to cocoa.

On the turtles shell I have used my Sakura Glaze pen, which adds a little dimension and shine to his shell. There is also some outlining with my white gel pen, from SU! The photo didn't come out so well, but they are very bright happy colors IRL.

Also, the turtle is wearing a party hat for the birthday celebration! It comes from the Stampin' Up! stamp set A Little Birdie told me! The saying is 'it's your birthday!' And the inside says 'it's time to celebrate!'

Wedding Invitation Samples

I made the wedding invitations last summer for my brother-in-law and his new wife. These are some of the samples that didn't make the cut. I thought I would share them with all of you.

I'm also making up some new samples for a friend who wants me to make their invitations for this summer.

This invitation is made out of Ivory cardstock and an ivory panel that was run through the Cuttlebug. Ribbon on the top came from Stampin Up!

The wording on the inside was printed on vellum cardstock and attached overtop a picture of the happy couple and attached with two silver brads.

The reception card also uses the ivory cardstock and cuttlebugged panel on the top. And the wording was printed on vellum cardstock and attached with brads. I did stamp underneath on this one with a western stamp, since they were having a western wedding.

This was one of my favorite samples for them, but they didn't choose this one. I only wish that I knew how to stamp and make all these cards and crafts when I was getting married! I would have loved to make all of my own!

Digital Easter Wishes

Isn't this just the cutest little easter rabbit? I found him over at http://dustinpike.blogspot.com. He has some really neat digital stamps that you can get, some are even free, like this cute little rabbit.

The only problem was that I didn't have a lot of ink left in my printer, so when I printed him out he was very light. So I just traced over him with my black marker. I had to color him in with my watercolor pencils, but didn't watercolor him because I didn't want my marker ink to run.

I also printed out some extra ones for my daughter to use. She loves using all of my scraps and stamps to make her creations. And she just loves this cute litte rabbit!

While it was snowing and blowing this weekend I made a few Easter cards to remind me that it is still spring!

I have no idea where this stamp came from. I received it in a box of stamps from my Mother-in-law! Thank you Margaret!!!

It was fun to color this in. I used my Stampin' Up! markers to color in all the flowers and the Happy Easter. I also used a glitter pen on the Happy Easter to make it super sparkly!

I am still working on my goal of using up all of my retired stash that I have. So I used some soft sky cardstock for my card. The designer paper is also retired Stampin' Up! called Spring Fling from last year.

I put on some stitching using my Janome Sew Mini sewing machine. I really need to work on sewing in a straight line, lol!

There are 4 dew drops on this card that I received in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to use them! They are so fun!!

Christmas Card Sunday

Yes, it is Christmas Card Sunday again!! I am on a roll with the Christmas Cards!!!! I made this set to give to my Mother-in-law as a gift this year. They all are using the Holiday Lineup stamp set. I do not own this set, but received these images from the WRAK group on Splitcoast. Love that group!

These cards are using the same layout as last weeks cards, and using the Top Note Die (yes, I love that too!). They also are using the same designer paper as last weeks (retired hostess prints pack). Did you know that you can get a 6x6 pack of designer paper in Stampin' Up!s awesome colors when you host your own Stampin' Up! workshop? How neat is that? And I know you all love designer paper as much as I do. I have been having so much fun using up all the neat 6x6 papers that I have! I really have wayyyy too much stuff and need to use it up before getting more. I really have been trying to get better at that.

More Graduation Invitations

Here are more of the cowboy graduation invitations that I have been working on this week. I am in the process of making 25 of these type. The base of the card is Sahara Sand, which is such a great neutral color to work with. The designer paper is retired Stampin' Up! paper. Stamp sets are Bronc Buster and Wanted. The edge of the card is torn and distressed with some chocolate chip ink. The cowboy and the horseshoe stamp are also stamped in chocolate chip ink. I added the word window punch and a brad to the top.

I had to work night shift last night and have to stay up all day with the kids today. So I am making this post short and sweet just because I'm so very tired!! And I have to go back to work night shift tonight, so they better let me take a nap today. It's such a great day for sleeping out, cold and rainy. Please pray that I get some sleep!

Christmas Card Sunday

More Christmas cards! I really have been busy with making my holiday cards, and even have some gifts done!

This set of 6 cards is made using the Big on Holidays stamp set. How can you not love to color in all of these wonderful sayings!

I used Whisper White for my cardstock base and layered a piece of designer paper (hostess pack from last catalog!). I then had my stamped image already on whisper white so I cut it out with my Top Note Die. All images and sayings are colored in with my Stampin' Up! markers. They are all popped up using my nifty little dimensionals, (I love those things!). And several of the cards have some real red ribbon on them. They all also have a touch of glitter on them somewhere! Who doensn't love bling on their Christmas cards?

Western Invitations

Another horrible picture, but I hope you can see these neat western cards. These are acutally graduation invitations that I am making for a friend. I am making 75 total cards, but only 25 of this style. She picked out 2 other styles for the other ones (which I will share with you all later next week!).

These are for her son's graduation this summer. And he is a country boy for sure~! I used the retired set Bronc Buster for these and also the Wanted set, which is currently in the Stampin Up! catalog. There is hemp twine and 2 gold brads on the green layer. And the cowboy/horse image is popped up on dimensionals. I just love those little things!

Hope you all have had a good week. I have been busy with orientation at the nursing home on dayshift. So not a whole lot of stamping time for myself. I did do a workshop today for a group of ladies and we had so much fun! I will also be sharing with you what we made later next week.

Thanks a Latte!

I am so glad that I got this new set from the Stampin' Up! catalog!

It is called Sip by Sip. Perfect for a coffee loving gal like myself! This is the first card that I have made with it, but you can bet you'll be seeing a lot more of it in the future.

The cardstock base is close to cocoa. The designer paper layer is Delicate Dots from the Sale-A-Bration brochure (and you still have time to earn it for free!). I used my close to cocoa marker to make faux stitching marks all around the paper.

The top note die layer is whisper white cardstock, and I stamped the image on it with chocolate chip classic ink. The saying inisde the bubble says 'thanks a latte!' Too cute! The ribbon that I used on the side of the top note is chocolate chip and certainly celery ribbon from Stampin' Up! And of course I popped up the top note using dimensionals to add a little extra dimension to the card.

Cupcake Birthday Card

Sorry for the bad photo for this cute card. I haven't been able to find my USB cord yet since returning from vacation, so I haven't been able to use my camera to take my pictures for you all.

I made this card for the weekend sketch challenge which was hosted by Cami this weekend. You should check out her blog. She has been such a great inspiration to me. I love her style of cutsy cards. And she colors so wonderfully. I also purchased a Janome Sew Mini sewing machine after reading all of her wonderful comments about hers. And I just had to try out my hand at sewing on my card for this week since she was the one hosting the challenge.

Now mine is nothing close to her greatness, but I am glad I am trying it out. I really wish I knew how to sew better, but I'll keep practicing.

I know it's hard to see the sewing in this photo, I am so sorry! But if you click on the picture it will bring it up a little bigger for you to see.

I used a set of Studio G clear stamps for the cupcakes and the Let's Party. The cupcakes are all cut out and popped up with dimensionals. I also used my Sakura Glitter Pen and Sakura Clear Glaze Pen on the cupcake tops and candles so they have a little bling and shine to them.

Can't wait to give this to someone for their birthday!

Christmas Card Sunday

I cased this card out of the gallery on SplitcoastStampers. I love the simplicty of the one layer cards. I first inked up my Lovely Tree image using my Versamark and then embossed it with the black embossing powder. Then I used my Culozle and cut out an oval template. Using my brayer and Bashful Blue ink, I rolled over the oval part several times creating the sky.

The greeting comes from the Snow Swirled stamp set.

The verse from that set is also on the inside along with some Bashful Blue snowflakes!

I really enjoyed making these cards. I did have some difficutly with the embossing on a few of them, so I only made a set of 8 cards, but I think they turned out so well! I can't wait to give these ones to some special people for the holidays!

Family News

Here is a picture of my baby, Joshua. He turned 4 years old yesterday~!! How is that possible? Here he is during his "schoolwork" while the other kids are doing their work. I just love how he takes his coloring in front of the pellet stove so that he is warm while he is "working"! Of course, this picture was taken about a month ago when it was still really cold. We had a small family party yesterday with cupcakes. And he will be having his Lightning McQueen party on Saturday complete with a Lightning McQueen cake, balloons, and of course ice cream too!

On other family news, I got a part time job yesterday. Unfortunately, my husband's business isn't going as well as they had hoped, and they aren't having a lot of money come in like they were. So I have decided to go back to work per diem at the local nursing home. I will be working day shift every Sunday, and then fill in on night shift during the week as needed. Along with doing some Stamping Classes each month. And my Jewelry Shows that I am really enjoying!! (I had signed up underneath my sister to sell Premier Designs Jewelry while we were on vacation in Florida).

Along with all of this, I still have all 3 of the kids home homeschooling. And we have weekly dance lessons. Plus my oldest son Kyle will be starting baseball again soon. Busy, busy, busy!!!

I'm not sure how long I'll be able to keep up doing all of this, but we'll get through it somehow I suppose, we always do. I don't know how my mother managed to work night shift all of those years while raising 5 of us kids!

Oh, and I am also taking classes online to get my RN degree. As if I needed more stress in my life. Please pray that I survive all of this!!!!!

Loads of Love - Easter Edition

This card was for another demo challenge. We had to use limited supplies. They really are testing me, lol!! I could only use ribbon and one other accessory. Plus I couldn't use any designer paper - which I am finding I use a lot of! So I used a basic layout, and stamped the cute little easter egg stamp as the background for my card. I also wanted to make this a "manly" card since I am sending these to my brothers for Easter this year. So there is some ribbon and I also put on some jumbo eyelets for the trucks tires. And they also said no punches, are they crazy?!!!!!

Oh, and we also had to use a much neglected stamp set, so that is why I used my Loads of Love. I really don't use that stamp set as often as I should. It is one of the stamps that I received in my Starter Kit when I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I really do love that there are so many uses for this cute little truck. And if you have this stamp set, you really must have the accessories stamps set that goes along with it. That is where the cute little Easter eggs and Easter saying are.
